AGC of America and AGC of San Antonio successfully delivered the brand new second edition of AGC’s Project Manager Development Program courses January 20th through the 24th to a sold-out class held at the AGC of San Antonio. Delivery of this course highlights the AGC of San Antonio’s commitment to educating and engaging their members. The updated curriculum directly addresses the core business of General Contractors, Specialty Contractors, and all trade partners. The class consisted of a mix of all three contractor types and everyone benefitted from instruction from AGC chapter instructors from AGC of Wisconsin, AGC of Houston and The Arizona Builder’s Alliance.

The curriculum has been updated for today’s construction industry and experienced project managers from member companies were key stakeholders in the development of the new courses. Ray McCoy, DBIA and CM-Lean, Sr. Director of Operations Graywolf Integrated Construction Company in Mesa Arizona teaches project execution to the class. The program is developed by experienced project managers who have years of expertise in managing construction projects, such as Ed Durham, Senior Project Manager at Anslow Bryant, who conducted one of the many activities designed to take students through the lifecycle of a construction project.

The newly updated 40-hour curriculum is a cornerstone of AGC President Dirk Elsperman’ s pledge to educating future industry leaders through AGC education. A Webinar for those interested in instructing the courses will be held on February 26th from 2 pm to 3 pm eastern time.
