This Mental Health Awareness Month, AGC invites you to take the first step toward fostering a healthier and more resilient construction workforce. Our online and self-paced Mental Health & Suicide Prevention Course is available for free to all AGC members. Designed specifically for construction leaders, this course helps you recognize signs of mental distress, build a psychologically safe work culture, and confidently support team members who may be struggling.

Key Resources for You and Your Team:

  • Employer Best Practices Guide – An 8-part guide to help integrate mental health into your safety program.
  • Toolbox Talks – Dozens of short, ready-to-use talks to prompt awareness and dialogue.
  • Video Series – Mental health impact stories and Naloxone awareness.
  • Free Artwork – Access coins, stickers, posters, and banners to show your support.
  • Industry Community – Forums, a Task Force, and ambassadors to learn from and collaborate with.
  • Biannual Mental Health Workshops – Peer-to-peer learning on emerging topics.

AGC proudly supports other national efforts, including:

  • CIASP’s Mental Health Toolkit
  • Youturn Health’s Stress Management Course
  • CSPW’s 5/14 Webinar – From Crisis to Culture Shift: How to Build a Resilient Workforce

The roadmap to mental wellness is different for every company. But this month, we challenge you to engage with at least one of these resources—and lead the change in your organization. Together, we can save lives.
