Earlier this year, Cass Sobek of Kiewit Infrastructure was named the recipient of the 2026 Bowen Prize for Great Builders for his outstanding leadership on Arkansas’ transformative 30 Crossing Project. The AGC Education and Research Foundation is proud to recognize two outstanding students from the University of North Texas who were selected by 2026 Outstanding Educator Award recipient Dr. Orlando Bagcal to receive scholarship support through the Foundation’s Outstanding Educator program.  As part of the award, Dr. Bagcal was allowed to direct two $2,500 scholarships to deserving students who exemplify leadership, academic achievement, and a passion for the construction industry. This annual competition highlights outstanding student thought leadership on topics shaping the future of the construction industry.
