Registration Open for AGC Environmental and Sustainability Meetings this Summer

Choose the meetings you would like to attend on July 29-31

This summer, AGC is holding a series of meetings at its national headquarters on July 29-31st to provide a forum for members to discuss key sustainability and environmental compliance issues on their to do lists. Participants are able to choose which meetings they would like to attend (i.e., sustainability, compliance, or both).

NOTICE – SITE MAINTENANCE: AGC’s registration platform will be down starting May 28 through June 1 for a site upgrade. Please complete your registration for this event by May 27 at 10:00 pm ET to avoid any delays or further registration disruptions. July 29 – First-Ever Sustainability Roundtable Discussions – Full Day Meeting – Opportunity for peer-to-peer discussion on topics chosen by participants in advance. We will reach out to participants to coordinate agenda topics. There should be time for discussion on 14-16 topics. Hosted by AGC Climate Change Working Group.

July 30 –Environmental Regulatory Summit – Full Day Meeting – Join us for expert presentations and panels to stay on top of environmental compliance and policy changes happening (and expected) in the Trump administration. (Agenda coming soon!)

  • The Current Regulatory Environment (Confirmed Speakers: Aram Gavoor, Gavoor PLLC and Spencer Phillips, AGC of America)
  • PFAS Developments (Speakers, invited)
  • Managing PFAS Risk – First Glance at AGC Document (Confirmed Speakers: AGC PFAS Task Force Members)
  • Waters of the United States Developments (Confirmed Speaker: David Chung, Crowell & Moring)
  • Species Developments (Confirmed Speakers: Andrea Wortzel and Morgan Gerard, Troutman Pepper Locke)
  • Stormwater Developments (Confirmed Speaker: Jeffrey Longsworth, Earth and Water Law)
  • Advocacy Resources (Confirmed Speaker: Nick Goldstein, Small Business Administration Office of Advocacy)
  • And more!

July 31 – In-House Environmental Managers Meeting – Full Day Meeting – Forum for environmental professionals working in house at construction firms to have peer discussions on topics chosen by participants in advance. There should be time for discussion on 14-16 topics, which typically focus on environmental compliance and sustainability from an environmental professional’s perspective. (Click here for a sample agenda from the last meeting.)

Finally, past and current members of the Environmental Committee will have the opportunity to RSVP for a closed-door Fly-in with Environmental Regulators on August 1st. Partial Day Meeting – For travel planning, we will wrap up the fly-in by 2pm ET on August 1st.

Your confirmation will provide a code to receive the AGC rate at the hotel across from the meeting location.
