Meet Rachel!

Rachel has over 20 years in the areas of customer service, sales, and management experience. For the past 9 years she has dedicated her career to United Rentals Inc., the world’s largest rental equipment company where she currently works as a branch manager for one of their middle Tennessee locations. She serves on the AGC of Middle Tennessee Construction Leadership Council as active sitting President as well as active Director on the AGC of Middle Tennessee Board of Directors.

Why did you choose to get involved with your local Construction Leadership Council?

My commitment for continuous professional development and to help stay connected to the community and business peers.

What benefits have you experienced being involved with AGC?

In an industry that is constantly evolving it is important to stay connected with other professionals that you can learn from and share with. The opportunity to network with driven individuals that share the same passion and drive can vastly open and expose ideas that can change the world one success at a time.

What can construction professionals like you gain by engaging with AGC?

Exposure and Growth. Engaging in any Committee or Local Chapter within your community can only increase your knowledge to use for personal and professional development. The amount of connections with new professionals to learn from and share success stories with are endless.

What’s your favorite in-person AGC event and why?

Hands Down. The AGC of Middle Tennessee and Construction Leadership Council’s BBQ in Red Shoes. This event raises money for the Ronald McDonald House in Nashville and being able to see it expand every year and watch the community come together for such an impactful cause is beyond mind-blowing.
