The Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Georgia’s Young Leadership Program (YLP) proudly participated in Wreaths Across America this past December at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA. This meaningful initiative is dedicated to remembering and honoring the sacrifices of our nation’s veterans while teaching future generations the value of freedom.
YLP members, along with their families and colleagues, came together to lay wreaths at the graves of those who served our country. This act of service is a small but heartfelt way of showing our gratitude to the men and women who defended the freedoms we enjoy today. It was a humbling experience to walk among the headstones, place wreaths with care, and reflect on the incredible sacrifices made by these heroes.
In addition to volunteering, the YLP donated $10,000 to support Wreaths Across America. This generous contribution helped ensure that wreaths were placed on graves across the Georgia National Cemetery, further honoring the legacy of our veterans. This effort exemplifies YLP’s dedication to giving back and preserving the memory of those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation.
Our involvement in Wreaths Across America is more than just a one-day event—it is a commitment to remembering the individuals who safeguarded the freedoms we hold dear. By laying wreaths and supporting this important cause, we aim to inspire others to honor our veterans and teach the next generation about their invaluable contributions.
Thank you to AGC Georgia member firms that continue to support our fundraising efforts and make it possible for us to give back in meaningful ways. Your generosity allows us to honor those who fought for our freedoms and contribute to causes that strengthen our community.
