AGC of Greater Milwaukee’s Construction Leadership Council (CLC) continues to invest in the next generation of construction professionals. Through networking, education, and community engagement, the CLC creates opportunities for students to build meaningful connections with industry leaders and gain valuable insight into careers in construction. Each summer, the Robert L. Bowen Industry Residency Program provides construction educators with the opportunity to gain firsthand industry experience and bring current construction practices back to the classroom. Through a partnership among participating universities, AGC member companies, and the AGC Education & Research Foundation, faculty members are immersed in real-world projects that strengthen the connection between academic instruction and industry needs. Noah Donohoe, a Construction Management student at Minnesota State University, Mankato, is the 2026–2027 CLC Scholarship recipient—and he recently took the stage at the 2026 CLC Leadership Development Conference to share his experience in construction and thank the donors that made his scholarship happen! A Presidential Scholar who earned a 4.0 GPA during his first year, Noah has already gained hands-on construction experience and is active in his university’s Construction Management Student Association. The AGC Education & Research Foundation is proud to announce the recipients of its 2026–2027 Undergraduate and Graduate Scholarship Program, awarding $512,500 in renewable scholarship commitments to 139 outstanding students representing 61 colleges and universities across the United States. Made possible through the generosity of endowed scholarship funds and donors, these scholarships invest in the next generation of construction professionals. Selected from more than 300 completed applications, recipients were chosen through a rigorous evaluation process that included a comprehensive application review. The AGC Education & Research Foundation is now accepting applications for its 2027–2028 Undergraduate and Graduate Scholarship Program, providing financial support and national recognition to students preparing for careers in commercial construction.
