Construction Safety Week, May 5 – 9, is an annual event in which people, companies, and even competitors, work together and celebrate the incredibly hard work by people in our industry who make safety the foundation of everything they do. The OSHA National Safety Stand-Down to Prevent Falls in Construction, held during the same week, raises fall hazard awareness across the country in an effort to stop fall fatalities and injuries. AGC is a proud supporter of both events and encourages members to participate.

All the resources you need to participate in Construction Safety Week and OSHA National Safety Stand-Down to Prevent Falls in Construction can be found on their respective webpages. To get started, check out the safety week podcast and falls stand down webinar below.

  • Podcast: Prepare for Construction Safety Week 2025
  • Webinar: Get Ready for the 2025 Stand-Down to Prevent Falls in Construction! (4/29, 2pm EST)
