The U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has scheduled meetings of the Advisory Committee on Construction Safety and Health (ACCSH) on Tuesday, Oct. 29 and Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. EDT. In-person and virtual attendance options are available.
Three of the committee’s workgroups will meet Oct. 29 as follows:
- Emerging Technology: 9 to 11 a.m.
- Workzones: 12 to 2 p.m.
- Health in Construction: 2:15 to 4:15 p.m.
On Oct. 30, the ACCSH committee’s meeting will include:
- Remarks from Assistant Secretary for Occupational Safety and Health Douglas Parker.
- Update from the Directorate of Construction.
- Discussions on hearing conservation and women in construction.
- Reports from committee workgroups.
- Period for public comments.
Public attendance in-person is limited to 25 people.

Established by the Construction Safety Act, the committee advises the Secretary of Labor and Assistant Secretary for Occupational Safety and Health on related policy matters and the setting of construction standards.
