Students and Professionals Can Apply Now for the AGC Education & Research Foundation Workforce Development Scholarship

Are you a student or professional passionate about technical skills and seeking support to kickstart your career in construction? The AGC Education and Research Foundation is here to empower your journey with our Workforce Development Scholarship. Here’s your chance to win a $1,000 (renewable for two years) scholarship towards your education in accredited technical schools or craft training programs.

The AGC ERF Foundation is dedicated to bridging the gap between education and industry by equipping students with the essential technical skills demanded by the commercial construction sector. This scholarship initiative reflects our commitment to nurturing talent and fostering the next generation of skilled professionals in construction.

Criteria:

  • Desire a career in the construction industry
  • Be a full-time or part-time student
  • Be enrolled or intend to enroll in an approved accredited program
  • Pursue degree, certificate or credential in a construction discipline or construction-related studies/programs.
  • U.S. or documented permanent resident of the United States

All required supporting documentation (transcripts, test scores, course lists etc.) must be submitted online with your application. Transcripts do not need to be official but must clearly include the name of the university and the applicant’s name. All relevant information must be in a readable format.

A personal recommendation from a teacher or employment supervisor is required with all applications. Please make sure the recommender’s email address is correct for the online recommendation system. You will receive a confirmation email once your recommendation has been submitted online. Recommendations submitted via email or mail will not be considered.
