In September, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) announced a 30-day extension to submit post-hearing comments related to the informal public hearing on their proposed standard for Heat Injury and Illness Prevention in Outdoor and Indoor Work. Post-hearing comments are now due on October 30, 2025.
Similarly, in August, OSHA extended the public comment deadline for 20 proposed workplace safety rules from September 2, 2025, to November 1, 2025, providing additional time for industry input.
